White Pines Golf CourseNo Member Rating - (Rate it!)
| This facility offers two regulation eighteen hole courses. These are championship caliber courses with water hazards (several creeks and lakes) coming into play on numerous holes. The East Course is the shorter of the two and is heavily wooded. The greens are small and difficult to hit. Sand bunkers surround most of the greens, and the ponds come into play mainly on the back nine. The West Course is a bit longer and the greens are larger than the East Course. The signature hole is #11, a 600-yard, par 5, rated by local publications as being one of the top ten longest holes in the Chicago area. Dick Nugent and Ken Killian redesigned both courses in 1982. Nine hole green fees are only available during the weekdays, not on the weekends. |
